About the Nigerian Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP 2.0)

The Nigerian Jubilee Fellows Programme, launched in partnership with the Federal Government of Nigeria and supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), was created to address the challenge of graduate unemployment in Nigeria.

The initiative gives talented young Nigerians the opportunity to gain one year of paid work experience in various sectors such as technology, finance, agriculture, education, energy, and more.

With the introduction of NJFP 2.0, the program promises better placement systems, stronger mentorship, and improved access to professional networks that help fellows transition into long-term careers.

When Does NJFP 2025/2026 Application Begin?

Eligibility Criteria for NJFP 2025/2026

To qualify for the NJFP 2.0 cohort, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.

  • Must have completed a bachelor’s degree or HND not earlier than 2022.

  • Graduates must have obtained at least a Second-Class Lower Division (2.2) for university graduates or Upper Credit for HND holders.

  • Must be 30 years of age or younger at the time of application.

  • Must have completed the NYSC or possess a valid certificate of exemption.

  • Must not currently be in paid employment.

  • Must show interest in career development and a strong commitment to contributing to Nigeria’s socio-economic growth.

  • Must possess good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
